Frequency Tolerance
The deviation from the nominal frequency expressed in Parts Per Million (PPM) at room temperature (+25C) Frequency tolerance is sometimes expressed as a percentage of frequency deviation, rather than as Parts Per Million (PPM) The conversion is as follows:

.01 % = 100 PPM
.005% = 50 PPM
.001 % = 10 PPM etc.

As frequency tolerances are tightened, costs increase incrementally. An Oscilent standard frequency tolerance is 30 PPM. | Site Map
